beetroot - ½ pc
whole wheat flour - 1 cup
ghee - ¼ tbsp
rock salt (pink Himalayan) - 1 taste
water - ½ cup
steps to do
peel and chop the beetroot roughly and blend with water to make a fine paste.
in a bowl and add in the whole wheat flour/atta. add in the salt, and ghee beetroot puree. add water as needed and knead a soft dough.
cover the dough with a lid. allow the dough to rest for a couple of hours or at least 10 minutes.
make the chapatis as you would normally.
