beetroot roti

ingredients

  • beetroot - ½ pc

  • whole wheat flour - 1 cup

  • ghee - ¼ tbsp

  • rock salt (pink Himalayan) - 1 taste

  • water - ½ cup

steps to do

  1. peel and chop the beetroot roughly and blend with water to make a fine paste.

  2. in a bowl and add in the whole wheat flour/atta. add in the salt, and ghee beetroot puree. add water as needed and knead a soft dough.

  3. cover the dough with a lid. allow the dough to rest for a couple of hours or at least 10 minutes.

  4. make the chapatis as you would normally.
