chicken korma

ingredients
chicken with bones- 250 gms
onion- 0.5 pc
tomato- 0.5 pc
ginger- 0.5 inch
garlic- 2 cloves
coriander leaves- 2 sprigs
turmeric powder- 0.5 tsp
red chilli powder- 0.5 tsp
cumin powder (jeera powder)- 0.5 tsp
coriander powder- 0.5 tsp
water- 1 cup
rock salt (pink himalayan)- 1 tsp
wood pressed groundnut oil- 1 tbsp
steps to do
1. heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
4. to this mixture, add the ground spice mix prepared earlier and mix well.
5. frying the chicken and adding ginger-garlic paste
6. add the chicken pieces to the pan and fry until they turn golden brown.
7. once the chicken is browned, add ginger-garlic paste and stir well.
8. adding spices to chicken for color and flavor
9. sprinkle a pinch of turmeric powder and red chili powder over the chicken.
10. stir the chicken well to ensure the spices coat the pieces evenly.
11. cook chicken until very soft
12. add a little water to the chicken and mix well.
13. cover the pan and cook the chicken over low to medium heat until it becomes very soft.
14. once the chicken is soft, let it cook on low to medium heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
15. garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
