ingredients

  • jowar flour (sorghum flour) - 1 cup

  • water - ½ cup

  • ghee - 1 tbsp

  • rock salt (pink Himalayan) - to taste

steps to do

  1. heat up water with salt and add jowar flour gradually while stirring to form a dough.

  2. knead dough until smooth.

  3. roll out the rotis as you normally would and cook on both sides until brown spots appear. jowar rotis do not fluff up like a wheat roti so don’t worry if yours doesn’t.
