moong dal cheela

green Moong Dal - ½ cup
green Chilli - 1 pc
ginger - ½ inch
rock salt (pink Himalayan) - to taste
black pepper powder - ½ tsp
curry leaves - 1 sprig
cumin seeds - ¼ tsp
onion - ½ pc
wood pressed groundnut oil - 1 tbsp
water - ¼ cup
steps to do
soak green moong dal overnight
drain and blend with green chilies, ginger, rock salt, black pepper powder, curry leaves, and water to make a smooth batter.
add cumin seeds and chopped onion to the batter.
heat a pan and lightly grease it. pour a ladleful of batter into the pan, spreading it thinly into a circle. drizzle a little oil around the edges.
flip the chilla and cook the other side until golden brown.
