spinach omelette

ingredients

  • egg- 3 pc

  • rock salt (pink himalayan)- 1 tsp

  • black pepper powder- 0.5 tsp

  • red chilli flakes- 0.5 tsp

  • wood pressed groundnut oil- 0.5 tbsp

  • garlic- 2 cloves

  • capsicum- 0.5 pc

  • spinach- 0.5 bunch

steps to do

1. wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely.
2. dice the capsicum into small pieces.
3. mince the garlic cloves.
4. in a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until well combined.
5. season the beaten eggs with rock salt, black pepper powder, and a sprinkle of red chili flakes. whisk them well to combine.
6. heat groundnut oil in a non-stick skillet.
7. add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
8. add the chopped capsicum and cook until slightly softened.
9. incorporate the chopped spinach into the skillet and cook until wilted and tender.
10. pour the seasoned egg mixture evenly over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet.
11. allow the omelette to cook on low to medium heat until the edges start to set.
